HELLO World! I’m Waylon and can’t wait to love you!
I’m a play-hard, sleep-hard type of fella! I LOVE sniffing everything new, playing with all the toys (the more the better!), love my chew toys, and adore other animals! I can’t wait to play with my foster sister every day and I love going on walks with her! While I also have a foster brother, he is a senior cat and isn’t all about my energy, so I make sure to be very respectful of his boundaries. Of course, I’m not above trying to see if my foster brother the cat wants to play with when he says no I go on my merry way! I love following my foster humans around and seeing what they are doing! He is also such a cuddle bug. After playing, I love to snuggle up next to them and give kisses.
I would LOVE to be in a home with other playful animals! I am both cat and dog-friendly. Mom also says I've been making great progress in such a short time with my puppy training! I’m about 90% fully potty trained – a couple of accidents here and there but doing wonderful. I’m also becoming quite an expert in sit and paw.
I did get a little nervous with loud sounds (New Years Fireworks), but quickly rebounded and was perfectly fine. I sleep all through the night in my crate with no issues. During the day, don’t want to miss anything! so I’m a little more restless and vocal during the day when mom puts me down for my puppy nap time, but calm down pretty quickly. Hey I’m a Beagle we’re supposed to “talk” and even when I’m out and about with the rest of the gang I talk things up! Apartment living would most likely not be fore me!
