Stetson is a very unique blend of Dachshund/Lab/Basset Hound. He has a gorgeous black, silky coat and perfectly curved little ears. He has short, little legs that have the curvature of a Dachshund/Basset Hound and the head and coloration of a Lab. Only a DNA test will truly tell us what the special blend of this handsome boy is. He is on the smaller side and weighs about 35 lbs. He loves to run and play and has tested well with both male and female dogs. He has been kenneled with my personal 15 year old Terrier mix female and he is very respectful of her. He loves his blankets and likes to pile them up to make a comfy bed for himself. He eats well and has been sharing his food and toys without any issues. He enjoys being petted, but would much prefer being down, sniffing things and exploring the yard. He rides well in my car out of a crate and does pretty well on the leash. He pulls a little bit in his excitement to see what is coming next. Cats are a definite no for this guy. He doesn't growl at them, but he barks and seems like he would definitely chase them.
