Meet this amazing girl Mishka! This sweet girl is 3 years old (DOB 3/2/2021) , is 69 lbs., and just the greatest companion. She is house trained, leash trained, and crate trained. She knows most commands, sit, come , stay, and fetch. She is a mellow gal that would fit right in with a family with older children. She is a mellow dog that gets along with other mellow dogs. She does react to a dominant dog coming at her. She loves to be outside so she needs a fenced in yard. She will to go with you on runs and hikes. She likes attention & loves to take a nap on the couch. She likes to play in the pool and is oh so happy to be sprayed with the hose. This is absolutely a gentle giant. She was brought to us because of an illness in her former family, and has adjusted well, but she needs to be in her forever home. Gorgeous, well mannered, and smart, that is Mishka. This girl is up to date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped, dewormed and is ready for a new bed in her new home. We are a private run facility supported by public donations. The first step to adopt is to submit an application on richardsonrescue.org. We review them everyday, except for Sunday (Great customer service is our goal). Once your application is approved, you may then call for an appointment.

VISITS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY WITH AN APPROVED APPLICATION.

More about this rescue

Nestled in twelve acres of country and woods is a place for animals that are hardest to help, BIGGER dogs, abused pets and puppy mill dogs. They need more time, more space and more love than many full rescues can provide. Their adoptions sometimes take months, but they get the room and attention that they need to get back on all four feet. The problem.... not many people are willing to give them a chance. We also offer low cost spay and neutering when funding allows.
