My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

He is very big on smiles and kisses! "Trophy" is a first place prize just waiting to be claimed. He will be the best thing that every happened to your life. You have the every thing it takes to win his precious heart! He will be your life time companion and best friend. With a little, love, patience, training and time, you will have yourself a shining star!

Trophy’s Story: "Trophy" was in an Ohio shelter that doesn’t even post on Petfinder . . . he chances were slim-to-none that he’d ever get out of there. But one of our adoptive moms checks in sometimes, and told us about him in time for us to grab this beautiful boy up and get him into rescue! Trophy is a first place prize just waiting to be claimed. He will be the best thing that every happened to your life. You have the every thing it takes to win his precious heart! He will be your life time companion and best friend. With a little, love, patience, training and time, you will have yourself a shining star!

His Foster Mom Says: Trophy just came into foster, but the “rave reviews” are already rolling in! From his transporter: “Transport went well. You should call this sweet guy “Turbo Tongue”, as he’s a real kissy-boy! He did so well in the car . . . during the drive back to Indy he sat in the back seat looking out the window . . . but periodically he would also try to move up front and start licking my face and when I told him to lick Deborah instead, he listened! He did make it up front once, he moved so quickly. He loves to ride in the car. For a dog just taken from the pound he doesn’t appear to have missed any meals J He is SUCH a sweetheart, he seemed to enjoy the adventure he was on! Laura, who pulled him, reported that he likes to talk . . . and also that her husband was ready to keep Trophy and trade for one of their Chihuahuas. I think we got the better part of the deal J

From Trophy’s new foster mom: “I took some photos of Trophy – he is VERY sweet and bouncy; obviously very happy to be out of the shelter! So far, it looks like he may well be cat friendly. I’ll spend more time on that, but so far he walks by the cats and kind of ignores them. He did pay attention once; he barked at Ziggy and then walked away. Bobby was playing with him and he went "nutty", he bounced around ran while in the low man position - cracked me up! You can see it in the photos – he’s a very playful boy, with great house manners so far!

Updates: Coming soon!

This dog's adoption donation is $200. If you know how much it costs to give a new dog responsible vet care, you can easily see that this is quite a bargain! He has had a complete health exam, has already been neutered, is microchipped, has tested negative for heartworm, has been kept on heartworm and flea preventative, is fully vaccinated and free of parasites.
