My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

>> Looking for a snuggly, smart, fun dog? Meet Fawn!!
>>
>> She is a precious young (estimated 2-3 years old) blonde Lab/husky mix who was stray in South Dallas area. Fawn has such an endearing personality- she is smart, very affectionate, loves to be social, and takes correction well while learning her manners.
>> She entertains herself with a toys or a chewy, and is always eager for someone else to join her! She seems to love other dogs as well (small and large), but I would use caution while still introducing her to any other pets you have (as the case for ANY rescued pup!)
>>
>> Fawn has the cutest sploot and loves to lay with her legs froggy style on her belly. She will want to follow you around the house and snuggle up right next to you for belly scratches!
>>
>> She has been doing great at learning boundaries, has never had a potty/poop accident inside, and sleeps quietly through the night. She had been scared to go in a car, but has learned quickly car rides are fun, and now jumps freely into the car! It is unknown how she does with cats since finder/foster doesn't have them. She is hw+, but has been started on doxycycline and will start hw treatment very soon.
>>
>> Fawn is an amazing pup and deserves a loving home! Please consider giving this sweet girl her furever family! She's a vet & boarding favorite!! 50 pounds house trained Dog friendly

More about this rescue

Our vision and our primary mission is to create a better world through kindness to animals. We believe this enriches the lives of both the animals and people. We are dedicated to focusing on rescuing abandoned, abused, homeless, neglected and or unwanted dogs of all sizes and breeds, and then placing them into responsible, loving, forever homes. We rescue and then provide food, shelter, love and, not only routine, but any necessary medical/vet care to dogs in need. We want to help create a community where all animals’ lives matter. Our guiding principal is the Golden Rule. We want to see the end of animal shelter killing and the unnecessary suffering from overpopulation and unwanted animals. To this end, we heavily promote spaying and neutering.
