My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Connor is a large tall boy weighing 90 lbs and he is 5 years old. He is very sweet and not too high energy. He needs work on the leash, he wants to chase cars and becomes reactive to people and dogs when on the leash. Inside the home he gets along great with dogs and has lived with cats. A fenced yard is required. Connor is also a major counter surfer and will be possessive when he steals paper towels or tissue. An adult only home will be the best fit for Connor and someone willing to work with a trainer. Contact the rescue for more information on his resource gaurding. He is crate and potty trained as well. He has had a few homes before he came to rescue and it just looking for attention and stability.

Connor takes daily medicine for thyroid.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Potential adopters are asked to complete and application form, GRRSWF will perform a vet check followed by a telephone interview with the adopter, we will then set up a home visit in order to make the best possible match between the dog and it's new home. We do not charge any application fees. Adoption donations are on a sliding scale according to the dog's age and medical needs.

Go meet their pets

All of our dogs are placed in loving foster homes who evaluate them while treating them as one of their own family, so we do not have a formal boarding facility. Once you have identified a dog of interest and have submitted an application, then you will be able to schedule a visit to the foster home and the first meeting with your new family member.
