My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, friends! My name is Jackson, and I am a 15-year old Chihuahua Mix who weighs 12.3 pounds. My partner in crime is Muzzie and we are a bonded pair! We can’t wait to find our forever home together.

We have spent our entire lives together. Sadly, our owner passed away and we found ourselves in an animal control facility in Chicago. It was very scary as we are both super seniors. We would just love a quiet home to live out our golden years.

I struggle with doggy doors because of my lack of vision. When I am in my pen, I do a good job trying to hit the potty pad. I am very friendly with everyone I meet, but I have not met any kids yet. My fosters think I would do best in a calm household with older kids. I am described as friendly, outgoing, and happy. Muzzie and I are both super snuggly and can’t wait to cuddle our way into your heart!

Our adoption fee is sponsored. There is a $15 fee, per dog, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
