My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tessa came to is December 28th 2023 from the City of Bakersfield Animal Care Center. She is about a year old and full of spunk. Here is a note from Tessa:

Hey! I'm Tessa! Not to brag but I'm some kind of lab mix Some things to know about me is that I just love playing with my dog buds here! I kinda like them more than the humans even. I do like some pets from the humans, but I could also do without. I especially love playing with my toys, I love chew bones and Jolly Balls most! The humans say I walk pretty good on the leash and have progressed with my crate training; I started what they call "placing training." I'm not really a fan of it, but they keep on me, so I've been trying to listen and be good. I can be a bit stubborn at first until I realize who the boss is... but if you let me be the boss then I'll just run with that! Anyways, I'm gonna go hang with my friends here for now until my forever family comes along!
