Meet Juno
Hi, my name is Juno.
My personality is as unique and beautiful as my coat. I am looking for my forever person/family to love and adore. I've got that BAE (Big Aussie Energy). I hear lots of humans on these boring calls talking about "herding cats" and it's like they know I'm looking for work. But it doesn't have to be cats, just give me something to do and I'll be a happy camper! I have done well with both big and small dogs and I don't pay any mind to a cat or two. If I'm going to have a fur sibling it would be best if they enjoyed lots of play time, because that is my favorite love language. I'm still learning a few manners, but I just love humans so much and am anxious to please them.
If you need a running partner, that's me! If you need someone to keep your other fur baby company, that's me! If you need someone to fall in your lap and give you endless affection, that's me too!
I'd probably do best in a home with kids 10 and up because sometimes I get so excited to see people I might jump up a bit, and I'm still working to learn a few things. I love long walks (they don't have to be on a beach). I also love romping in the snow! I do pretty well on a leash, but if you have a slower paced walk, I may need to learn how to slow down a bit.
We think Juno is a purebred Australian Shepherd. His foster tells us he sleeps in a crate and she doesn't hear a peep from him all night. He loves playing with other dogs but also loves being by his people - he's a "leaner" and loves scratches and attention.
Juno weighs about 39lbs and is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his vaccinations. He is about 1 year old.
He was brought to IL from TX on rescue transport and is being fostered in Lombard. The adoption fee is $350 plus the $200 transport fee from TX.
