Glimmer came to Lovebugs Rescue after her and several other dogs were seen being dumped, with one being hit by a car and killed. Thankfully Glimmer was scooped up to safety. She is very shy initially and needs a slow warm up to new people, but her tail will be wagging once she knows her people a little better.
She loves other dogs and would benefit being in a home with another pooch to pal around with. Glimmer did come to us with some cracked front teeth, which have since been removed. We don’t know what her past was like, but she’s now onto a bright new future ahead!
Glimmer is a 2 year old 11 lb Dachshund/Chihuahua mix and has that adorable low rider build. An ideal home for her would be one that is on the quiet side without a lot of coming and going. Also a secure outdoor spot she can go potty.
Glimmer's adoption fee is $350 and includes her spay, registered microchip, vaccines current, deworming and flea treatment. Apply at www.lovebugsrescue.org

We are a foster based animal rescue located in Southern California. Our goal is to work with local animal shelters that are overpopulated so we may lessen the amount of animals being euthanized unnecessarily. We are 100% volunteer based.
