Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Birch is the sweetest dog. He is silly, cuddly, and very social. He loves all dogs and people. Birch is confident on the leash and around other dogs, silly, and has a goofy personality. He is such a good boy and we love him dearly. He is hard not to love. He also seems to interact well with children and cats. Birch is house trained, crate trained at night, and catches on quick when learning commands.
The only reason we are rehoming him is because he has separation anxiety. My partner and I live in an apartment with no other pets and the barking when we leave is becoming a problem. Birch had the opportunity to stay in a house with another dog and was able to stay home alone with minimal stress! We have come to the realization that Birch's difficulty to thrive with us may have more to do with the size of our home. While we are heartbroken, we believe that Birch living in a house with a yard and ideally another dog would be the ideal fit for him.
