Kolbi was a dog who had been abandoned in a house after the owner passed away. He was left there for 6 weeks until found by the neighbors. During that time he had a beautiful litter of puppies with the resident female dog as obviously neither was fixed! The neighbors reached out for help as this was no place for a dog to live! not even a human can live there. There were dead rats everywhere and feces and urine as they were locked inside the entire time. When we saw the plea for help and those conditions we immediately knew we had to get those pups out of there! He even made headlines with the unique rescue situation! if you want to see the article for the full story, please check our social media accounts. Then we got more bad news when we took him to the vet to get him fixed. The vet had found and removed a pellet from a BB gun from his back end. He had been shot. He did make a full recovery. Hi personality: He is the cutest and loves to burrow under the blankets. He loves to burrow his head in your arms and snuggle you.
He really is so sweet! He is so grateful to be rescued and just wants to be a loyal companion and a best friend to you! He is a very loyal dog, he follows his rescue/foster mama everywhere and just wants to snuggle! Due to his past living conditions, he is currently learning potty training and he figured out the doggy door in 1 day! He is a very smart dog. He is currently leash training as well and again catching on quickly! He is quickly learning how to be a well behaved house dog. He will be an amazing dog! He just needs love and guidance.
