My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Braxton, the spirited 3-year-old Husky mix with a stunning coat of brown and white fur that perfectly complements his deep blue eyes. Braxton's boundless energy is matched only by his enthusiasm for playtime and exploration.
With his playful demeanor, Braxton is always ready to initiate a game of chase in the yard or romp around with his favorite toys. His zest for life is evident as he takes in all the sights and smells on his walks.
Braxton is on the lookout for an active family who shares his love for adventure and embraces an energetic lifestyle. He thrives in environments where there's always something new to explore and plenty of opportunities for outdoor fun.
If you're ready to embark on exciting adventures with a furry companion who's as lively as he is lovable, Braxton just might be the perfect match for you!

More about this shelter

We serve the pets and people in Northern Illinois and Southeastern Wisconsin. Our mission is clear: To take responsibility for each and every orphaned, abandoned, abused or neglected dog and cat which reaches our doors; to take them in and shelter them; to provide the best medical and physical care possible for them; to nurture them back to health if need be; and finally to place them into warm, loving, adoptive homes where they can enjoy the lives they deserve.
