Frosty (aka Grace) is approximately one year old with an amazing story to tell.
This survivor with impeccable instincts gave birth to six puppies and was found by a lady at a local garbage dump. Frosty picked up one of her puppies and took it to the lady to let her know that she was a mom who desperately needed help. Frosty and her puppies went to live in a foster home so they could get one-on-one attention and get healthy. When she was found, she was extremely underweight from trying to care for her litter. Her foster mom helped her get to a healthier weight, and now Frosty resides at the Adoption Center waiting to be adopted. Her puppies are up for adoption at a partner rescue in Jasper. Frosty's foster mom said that she is a wonderful dog with a great disposition, and that she got along well with her own dogs.
Frosty struggles with her leash manners. She needs a family who will help her learn how to walk on a leash without pulling and will be patient with her as she gets the hang of walking on a leash properly.
Frosty would love to show you what a remarkable canine she is, so visit her at the Adoption Center at 171 Mineral Springs Road in Blue Ridge. For more information about her, contact the Adoption Center at 706-632-4357. Frosty was the best mom she could possibly be to her pups against all odds, and now she is ready to start the next chapter of her life. Be her champion and make her a valued member of your family.
