My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Chunks!

About Chunks:
Chunk is an almost 2-year-old Siberian Husky mix, born around April 28, 2022. This gorgeous boy is full of energy and friendliness, getting along well with dogs, men, women, and children. Despite his size, he's a gentle giant who's eager to find his forever family.

From Chunks' Foster Family:
Chunks is such a sweet boy. He may be shy at first, but once he trusts you, you're his forever pal. He's a big goof with moderate energy levels. Chunks loves bursts of playtime and enjoys romping around with my husky and lab. But he's also quite content lounging around and being part of the pack.

He's been doing great with potty training outside and is already kennel trained. Chunks knows some basic commands like sit, down, and come, and he's a master at the paw shake! While we don't have children, his previous owners had several, and he seemed curious about kids in our neighborhood. We're working on leash skills as he can be hesitant about new things.

Chunks would be an excellent addition to a patient family willing to help him gain confidence. If you're ready to welcome this sweet goofball into your home, reach out to learn more about adopting Chunks!

More about this rescue

Southern Nevada Animal Rescue League (SNARL) exists to provide a better life for adoptable homeless, abandoned, or abused animals. We aim to assist in the effort of limiting the overpopulation of these animals as well as educate the public against breed or size discrimination. There is no such thing as a “bad breed”, only bad humans. Our mission is to make sure all of the animals we rescue are placed in loving, safe, and viable fur-ever homes.
