My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hearts lives up to her name with a gentle and affectionate demeanor. At 9 years old, she's earned her stripes in wisdom and charm. This senior cat prefers a relaxed lifestyle and can often be found lounging in cozy spots around the house.
Hearts adores being brushed. She appreciates the tender moments when she can simply bask in the warmth of human company.

While she's not shy about seeking attention, Hearts likes to set the pace. She'll let you know when she's ready for pets and cuddles, ensuring that every interaction is on her terms. If you're lucky, she might even grace your lap with her presence.

Hearts thrives in a calm and peaceful environment where she can enjoy the company of her human without the presence of other animals.

More about this rescue

Founded in 1990, Nuzzles and Co (formerly Friends of Animals Utah) was just a small group of animal lovers lobbying for a new shelter facility. Today, we are a full-fledged animal rescue and rehabilitation organization with an adoption center, dedicated staff and board of trustees, and a 15,000 sq. ft. facility that includes a full veterinary suite, indoor and outdoor training spaces, miles of hiking trails, and a community cat room with an attached "catio."
