Sushi is a two year old pitty, that was found abandoned outside a Lake Worth neighborhood. She like to play and run, but she will also lay with you on the couch or next to you on the bed. She loves to give hugs and lay her head on your shoulder. She is potty trained and doesn't seem to have the need to chew on things. She knows a few commands like sit and shake but she could use a little more training. Sushi would be good in an only pet, no cat home as she prefers all the attention, and she despises cats( and squirrels). She is heartworm positive, but seems to be doing well on the meds so far, and the treatment is already paid for. We hope to find this Sushi roll a loving and caring home.
Sushi is participating in The Love Pit's iRehome program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster. All behavior and medical information is provided by their caretaker, and TLP encourages all adopters to verify the information with their caretaker prior to adoption.

We are a foster/volunteer based 501c3 nonprofit dog rescue in Dallas, Texas. Our mission is to reduce the number of homeless pit bull type dogs in shelters and on the streets through rescue, rehabilitation, education, and advocacy.
Our goal is to educate the public about a breed that often falls victim to breed specific legislation, discrimination, and cruelty and promote responsible pet ownership through spay/neuter initiatives, vaccinations, and training resources.
