My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Animal Profile: Champ is an approximately 11-month-old, 28 lb neutered male Hound mix that joined us from Louisiana on 11/29.

Foster Update:  Champ is a sweet young dog-- he walks well on a slip lead, loves playing with other dogs and, true to his hound nature, will occasionally randomly bay while playing! He doesn't necessarily enjoy his crate, but we are working on it. He's exuberant and fun loving, smart and food motivated. Champ would love someone who works from home and he would like a dog companion in his new home, especially a dog who would want to play and work out hound energy! He is food motivated and wants to please and is always willing to learn. He will make a great companion!

Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.

Animal History: This dog was rescued from Caddo Parish Animal Services via Tall Tails Transport. They arrive on 11/29 and will be available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.
