My name is Buddy!

Buddy is a sweet and handsome 10.5 year old male cat.  He was originally trapped at a motel as a stray cat by another rescue. They couldn't keep him and the motel refused to have him released back to them. We took him in and found out he was a sweet loving cat. He was placed in a home and was recently returned to us. His owner changed his litter to pellets and he didn't like that. We advised him to change back to the clay litter that he was used to and once he did Buddy began to use the litterbox again. Sadly after a few days his owner went back to pellets and became very upset that Buddy wouldn't use it. We took him back into the rescue but we were sad that his owner would't use the litter Buddy preferred. Since he's been with us he has been perfect! He likes to sit on your lap and sleep with you in bed. He doesn't care for other cats, he prefers to be alone. He also doesn't care for dogs or kids. He just wants a place that will be his last home in his senior years.

He did test positive for FIV which means he may be more susecptible to disease so early response to any changes in his behavior would be best!

All of our cats are spayed/neutered and current on rabies and distemper vaccines. They are been tested for feline leukemia, FIV, heartworm and intestinal parasites including giardia.
