My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Considering adopting? The first step is to complete our online Adoption Application at http://forgetmenotshelter.org/Application
Please do not call the shelter; do the application first.

Aurora, Comet, Cosmo, Estella, and Eclipse were all surrendered by the same person, whose cat clowder got a bit out of control, requiring some spay/neuter services and a reduction in the cats remaining in the home.

Aurora and Comet were each born 2/1/23, while Cosmo, Estella, and Eclipse are a bit younger, with a 6/1/23 birthdate (the months are correct, the actual days are unknown so we assigned them to the 1st).

Aurora and Comet enjoy playing with wand toys, enjoy being petted, and accept being held for brief periods.

Cosmo, Estella, and Eclipse also enjoy wand toy play, will tolerate petting, and are nervous about being held.

As is typical in undersocialized cats, this group should all grow in confidence with their new families and ultimately bond well with people they know, though the three youngest may always be wary of strangers.

AURORA - female, short-haired dilute tortoiseshell
COMET - male, short-haired black
COSMO - male, medium-haired black
ESTELLA - female, medium-haired black with white spot
ECLIPSE - female, medium-haired black

All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee is a suggested minimum of $50 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts.

Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
