My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ginger aka Luna! A terrier mix born around 11/2017. This is our sweet Luna! When it’s time to relax she is the best little cuddle bug. She loves nothing more than curling up close with you on the couch and resting her chin on your lap!

She is well-trained and understands most major cues; she’s very food-motivated and loves giving her full attention to anyone who has a little treat for her. She is very quiet and rarely barks, preferring to let you know what she’s thinking with smaller whining noises and the cutest little head tilts.

We went through multiple training classes (she loved going to training classes!) so she has lots of commands down and kennel trained. Luna can become easily excited and distracted on walks because she wants to make friends with any stranger but she can be redirected quickly, especially with her favorite command “heel” (she would be a fantastic running/hiking buddy to hold her focus). She loves male dogs but is picky over any female dog. She is great with older kids (5+) but younger seems to overwhelm her too much.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:$ 375.00
