Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Intake Date: 12 January 2024 -------- Age at Intake: 7 weeks ----- Breed: GSD mix with ??? ----- Size: expected 45-55 lbs ----- Status: Pound Pull ----- Compatible with: Dogs, cats, children. ----- Suitable for: home with a fenced yard ----- Medical/Behavioral Needs: none noted ----- Additional Notes: Welcome Klondike! Handsome sweet boy. He came to rescue with his mom, North, and 4 siblings in -53 temps. So their names are all corresponding to the weather and we are calling them the Winter Pups! They were so wormy when they came to rescue so they have been dewormed and gotten their first round of vaccinations. They're starting on litterbox training and picking that up too. All pups will be ready for adoption at 12 weeks of age. We do not do early adoptions as the time with their mother and littermates is extremely vital for learning proper social behavior to include bite inhibition. If considering adoption, remember, this is an 18 year commitment and they deserve to be a part of their family for the duration. Puppies are not temporary. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If interested in meeting and potentially adopting please read the adoption requirements and complete the adoption application located at forbellessake.org. Once processed and approved a meet and greet can be scheduled and if a match an adoption is finalized at that time. Adoption fee is $175 and all dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for any known medical needs. Breeds are not guaranteed but often a best guess. Housetraining is not guaranteed but crate training is worked on with all residents. If a yard is present, a secure fence is prioritized.
