My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Interested in adoption? The first step is an application at paddyspaws.blogspot.com. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered.
We only accept applications from Wisconsin.

Thea is living in a foster home in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin.

Thea was surrendered by her owner who never cared much for her and she was always in the streets, searching for food. Thea was so thankful to be rescued! She went to a foster home where she got to be inside the house, safe and sound. Thea is totally housetrained and very good with a routine. She feels safe in her crate or puppy pen and doesn’t make a peep through the night. She likes the company of her little foster brothers Willie and Atlas and initially prefers small dogs (big ones are scary!)

Thea’s ideal home would be with a quiet, patient family who prefers books over big parties and couches over camping. While she’s little enough to go anywhere, she’s really only interested in staying home. She would love to live with a smaller, friendly dog in an adult only home. She warms more quickly to women and loves her foster mom.

With time and patience and in a peaceful home, she’ll blossom.

Like most rescues, her breed is unknown and ger adult size is a best guess. She will require a flexible schedule and regular socialization to become a happy, healthy pooch! Her adopter must alter her at 6 months.

Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once
approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250.
