My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hank is a kind and gentle soul who tries to please. Very good in the house, perfect on the leash. He is 3 years old, good with all pets and people, and weighs 60 pounds. He would fit right into a home with active people and a soft rug. Both eyes are partly blue. Fee $150. Apply at morganspot.org.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

SPOT has an adoption application at morganspot.org. It asks for a vet reference and takes a day or less to be approved. We also have an adoption contract in which the adopter agrees to provide good care, not sell the pet, and return it to SPOT if there are problems.

Go meet their pets

SPOT attends Mingle With Our Mutts at the Franklin County shelter in Columbus, Ohio, every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month. We host a Mutt Strutt on the Saturday after Mothers Day in May, a free event to promote spay/neuter and showcase dogs. All our pets are in foster care and we are very flexible about meeting arrangements.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to reduce the numbers for unwanted pets in Morgan County. We rescue, foster, and adopt out dogs, cats, and horses. We provide low-cost or free spay/neuter services for pets of low-income owners and have an emergency pet food pantry for those in need.
We do out-of-state adoptions and recommend RescueRidersTransport for long trips.
