My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pong is hanging out with the awesome staff at PetSuites Dayton (3773 Summit Glen Drive). You can visit him Tuesday - Friday 11am-6pm, Saturday 9am-4pm. If you decide he's the one for you, give us a call at 937-268-7387.

Meet Pong, the playful pup with a heart of gold! This sweet boy was brought to the Humane Society of Greater Dayton by the caring folks at Dayton PD after being found as a stray. Pong's playful spirit is infectious-he adores toys but might be a tad protective of his favorites.

When he's not romping around with his beloved toys, you can find Pong cozied up in his blankets, transforming into a snug little cocoon of cuteness. His love for snuggling knows no bounds, and he's always eager to shower his human friends with kisses galore.

Pong is an adventure enthusiast who can't wait to explore the great outdoors on leisurely walks with his new family. If you're ready to invite endless laughter, cuddles, and joy into your life, look no further than Pong! Interested in making Pong a part of your family? Fill out an application on our website or stop by the shelter to meet this lovable goofball in person.

More about this shelter

The Humane Society of Greater Dayton is proud to be a no-kill animal welfare agency. We are committed to finding great homes for great pets! As a 501(c)(3) nonproft, we receive no government funding and rely solely on donations from individuals, companies and grants to fund our programs and services. We are not affiliated with any other animal agency on a local, state or national level. Since 1902, our organization has been devoted to being a voice for the voiceless. Although we proudly find more than 2,000 animals forever homes every year, we are far more than an adoption center. We currently have a wide array of programs to support animals in our community. Through our high-volume spay and neuter clinic, we are able to help pet owners as well as battle cat overpopulation through Trap-Neuter-Return. Our humane society agents also work tirelessly to protect pets from cruel and neglectful circumstances through our Cruelty & Neglect Investigations Department. Through our Veterinary Hospital, we can provide top-quality access to veterinary care at a low cost to pet owners. In addition to our many programs, our organization is unique because we are the only agency in the community able to handle all types of animals. This includes cats and dogs but also rabbits, birds, farm animals, pocket pets and exotics. Our organization is committed to providing our community, our state and our region with support and care.
