My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Eddie James is a charming 3.5-year-old Schnauzer mix with a heart as big as his personality. Weighing in at 18 pounds, this laid-back guy finds joy in life's simple pleasures-cuddling, leisurely strolls, and basking in the warm sun.

Radiating sweetness from head to tail, Eddie James is a true gem. He adores the company of other dogs and cats alike, making him the ultimate furry friend for any pet-loving household. Potty trained and leash savvy, Eddie James is the ideal companion for daily adventures and cozy nights in.

While Eddie James thrives in the company of other pets, he does have a touch of separation anxiety and would prefer a home with another dog to keep him company when his humans are away. Additionally, he can be a bit of a door darter until he feels completely settled, so a secure environment and older children are preferred.

If you're ready to open your heart and home to this lovable Schnauzer mix, consider adopting Eddie James. With his infectious personality and unwavering loyalty, he's sure to bring endless joy and companionship into your life.

Adoption fee is: $325

More about this rescue

CAMO Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers life, health, and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues can’t or won’t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue ‘euthanasia listed’ animals that are in immediate danger of death. We provide shots, spay/neuter, microchip, foster homes, food, medical treatment and love to dogs that are abandoned, unwanted or otherwise in need. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another. In addition to caring for our dogs and finding the best possible home for them, we provide education to the community; encouraging and promoting responsible pet ownership. If needed, our rescue dogs are retrained to socialize in an adoptive loving family. We have had phenomenal success, and amazing support from our community. We believe that animals, as living creatures are entitled to a quality life, respect and compassion. Since humans have domesticated animals, we have a moral and ethical responsibility to care for them. We are partnered with many Shelters to help them reach the same goal.
