My namesake is best known for her comedic timing and hysterical sense of humor!! Foster Mom says that i am the funniest dog that she has ever met!!
I am outgoing and fun loving!! My favorite past times are going for walks, climbing trees, and sitting on foster Mom's lap for snuggles ( she laughs and tells me that I am not a lap dog...Hahaha..fooled her..yes I am a lap dog...just look where I am sitting...on her lap!!:)
I am also extremely intelligent and pick up on "human speak" very quickly. I have a great vocabulary of understanding!!
At 2 years young, I have reached my adult weight of 35 lbs of svelteness (I think I just invented a new word!!) I am trim and athletic and will do best in an active home where I can hike and play with my new human (s)!!
Of course, it goes without saying, I am completely house trained and crate trained. I get along great with other dogs and have an innate understanding of "dog language"! I know when I can play with a dog and when I need to roll on my back and show submissiveness (this is a fake, as I am not really submissive, but know how to play the game in order to not rock the boat!) But, I am not at all alpha, either. I just want to be happy, play, and co exist.
I walk well on the leash( although Foster Mom usually walks me off leash) and I know to come when called.
I am the Court Jester of the ranch and always have a smile on my face. However, I am protective of the ranch as well and always bark to let my Foster Family know if someone arrives or comes into our space. I am not aggressive, just protective.
My ancestry is from the "Survivor Dogs" of the Guatemalan Volcano,Pakaya. My ancestors had to be fleet of foot and clever in order to survive, and I certainly inherited those traits.

Hay Dude Equine Rescue, in Boerne, TX, does not have a shelter - ALL of our dogs, are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. Each pup comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations that are appropriate for their age, microchipped, heartworm tested and on current on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.
