My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello everyone

My name is Mary. I’m about 16 weeks old and foster meow-my says that I should have been named “Princess” because that’s what I think I am – Kitty Royalty. Like most Torties, I have a huge personality (once I get to know you) but I also expect a lot of attention in return. If you are not paying attention to me, I may come up and meow at your feet, do somersaults on the floor or, if you’re really not paying attention, I might just climb up your pant leg to say “hey – look at me”. I am pretty fearless when I encounter bigger versions of me – most of the time I’ll just stand my ground and maybe hiss for a bit and puff out my tail but lots of times, I just ignore the big kitties. I also love to sit on your lap or shoulder purring away while you work and am forever posing for cute pictures of myself because, as you can see, I’m absolutely gorgeous. In exchange for all my wonderful qualities, I expect to be treated like a princess and spoiled rotten. I’m willing to politely share the limelight with a couple kids or another cat (I’ve never been around dogs so don’t know if I’d like them) but just don’t forget to pay attention to ME, ME, ME. If I do become your princess, I can promise you a lifetime of love and companionship. I will be your best friend and we will do everything together. I’ll even cuddle up and spoon with you at night to keep you warm on these cold nights. Won’t you please make me your forever princess?
