I'm a social butterfly when it comes to dogs, but I might need a little time to warm up and understand the social cues. Slow introductions and monitoring during playtime are key for me. I've only been around older kids, and let me tell you, I loved the extra attention they showered on me. Craving human interaction is my specialty, and I respond really well to direction - I'm a quick learner!
While I'm low on the energy scale, I do enjoy a leisurely walk and basking in the sun in the backyard. Lounging around and relaxing are some of my favorite pastimes. Oh, and did I mention I'm not at all interested in those small critters like bunnies or squirrels during our walks? I'm a laid-back gal who takes life one sunbeam at a time.
I'm okay with a crate, and with a bit more practice, I'll become even more comfortable with it. I do get a little car sick, so if you're looking for a co-pilot, I might not be the perfect fit. However, I absolutely love playing with balls and other toys, and chewing on benebones is my guilty pleasure.
Although I get along with other dogs, I don't necessarily crave their interaction. I'd be just as happy being the only dog and soaking up all the love you have to offer. I'm the sweetest thing you'll ever meet - just watch me patiently wait for my treats!

We are a foster/volunteer based 501c3 nonprofit dog rescue in Dallas, Texas. Our mission is to reduce the number of homeless pit bull type dogs in shelters and on the streets through rescue, rehabilitation, education, and advocacy.
Our goal is to educate the public about a breed that often falls victim to breed specific legislation, discrimination, and cruelty and promote responsible pet ownership through spay/neuter initiatives, vaccinations, and training resources.
