Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Madison!
Madison came into an emergency vet hospital with a badly infected leg after being attacked by a dog. Her owner was homeless and had an opportunity to move into a halfway house and knew it was in Madison's best interest and his to surrender her.
Once surrendered, the vet amputated her leg and now she has a new beginning at life. She is a little diva and wants to be treated as such! She adapted to being a tripod almost immediately and doesn't let it slow her down! She has little stairs to get up on bed and prefers to cuddle under the blankies with her owner.
She is about 7 lbs and 7-8 years old. She is 100% house trained. Lives with cats and dogs now. She would do best in a home with other dogs her size - big dogs scare her.
She can be a bit sassy at the vet but is manageable.
She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, has healthy recent bloodwork & 4dx tested negative. She does need a dental which is scheduled for March with a mobile vet. If adopted before then, we can have the vet go to your house instead 😊
Her adoption fee is $200 but it will be paid directly to The Veterinary Care Foundation Fund as a donation which helps animals, like Madison, when their owners cannot afford their care.
