I need to surrender my 4 year old Dutch Shepherd, Rip. I do this with a very heavy heart, he is a wonderful dog and very loved. My circumstances have changed dramatically as I am going back to school and working. Rip does not get the time and attention he needs and deserves. He will do best with people who are active and love to give lots of attention.
He is incredibly smart, very loyal, and very active. He knows the basic tricks, sit, stay, up, down, speak and is also crate trained. He LOVES to play fetch and will go after anything you throw. He loves ear scratches, chest rubs, and butt scratches, but is not a fan of cuddles. He is very inclined to "help" you do whatever you are doing around the house
He is not good with other dogs (he gets nervous and defensive and does not share toys) and does not do well with cats either. He very much enjoys the company of people. He is up to date on his vaccinations and is taking heartworm, flea and tick prevention medicine. He is in great health!
