My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ahoy! New England sea captains used to believe that polydactyl cats (cats with extra toes) were good luck and wanted them onboard for that reason. If you need some extra good luck, check out little Mollie here. This affectionate girl is looking for a place that is ship shape and that she can call her forever home.
In addition to her extra toes and good luck, Mollie comes with a lot of love. She is a fuzzy, mellow thing that enjoys being around people and thinks laps are the best places to get pets and rubs. She’s a great at lookout duty, as in “look out the window at the world.”
As far as we know, she cannot use her extra toes as thumbs, so there’s little danger that Mollie will start opening the bag of cat treats on her own. But you never know. Molly was born 9/27/21.

If your ship needs a lucky charm, and are interested in learning more about Molly, please contact Toni McNaughton at tonimcn@rcn.com and Lisa Ward at catladychicago@yahoo.com. Please tell us a bit about your situation, what you are looking for, the composition of your current household (the other humans and/or pets who already live there). Inquires with these questions answered are responded to promptly.

We are always in need of foster homes. If you are not able to adopt, but are interested in fostering or know someone who might be, we would love to hear from you! Please contact Toni McNaughton at tonimcn@rcn.com or Lisa Ward at catladychicago@yahoo.com to learn more. Photos by Brenda Stewart.
