My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I know what you’re thinking, “Oh look at that adorable St. Bernard mix!” We thought that too. Turns out, zip, zero, zilch, not even a tiny trace. Juno is a unique combination of working dogs (Pyrenees, GSD, Cattle Dog) and America’s best pets (Labrador & pittie). She’s 71 lbs, 3 years old, house trained, and refining her leash walking skills. Juno is smart. Her pastimes include food puzzles, toys, walks, running around the yard, and on weekends hitting up the chess tournaments and NY Times crossword puzzles (this has got to be the GSD in her). No lie. Some of her other breed characteristics run deep, cue Pyrenees, so a large fenced in yard is a must. She’s an alerter (also thank you Pyrenees) and will alert her family to the happenings all around when she’s out and about and on patrol. She’s dog friendly but plays a little too rough with little dogs (ah hem, cattle dog makes an appearance) so is likely best suited with a large playful, goofy male dog. Juno loves her people and is ultra snuggly (ah, there are America’s sweethearts the pittie and the lab) , yet thrives on structure and routine and knowing what the expectations of her are. She’s eager to learn, food motivated, and I’ll say it again, smart. We prefer a home with older kiddos.

Juno is in foster in Boulder, Colorado.
