What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Winnie was adopted from the Maricopa County MASH unit October of 2022. She had little to no fur when adopted and still weighs only 4 pounds. Winnie is by far the nicest, sweetest and cuddly cat I have ever met, she gets along with cats dogs and children, she’s never hissed or swatted at anything. She needs more care than I can give because she is blind in an eye, doesn’t clean herself so she’s extremely matted, and she defecates only diarrhea so she misses the litterbox often due to not being able to make it in time. She has been tested for everything and has come up completely healthy in all categories so we are unsure of what is causing these issues. The vet’s guess she’s around 9 years old. Sadly I am no longer able to take care of her due to her special needs and do not want to give her back to a shelter. I swear up and down you’ll never find a sweeter cat than Winnie, I just wish I could be the right home for her but I am not able to give her the love and care she needs.
