Sweet, Deaf Diamond is unfortunately Heartworm positive. She is looking for an immediate foster-to-adopt home (or a foster home)
Diamond was surrendered to a MD shelter very pregnant back in December. She had her babies there, and came to us when they were 4 days old. She was used to being a family dog, and has shown us that everyday. Now that her babies are away from her, Diamond shows us that she is instantly dog friendly, she is kid friendly, she responds well to training, and she just wants to be included in the family. She doesn't even get startled when sleeping, and she is a GOOD sleeper.
Diamond will undergo Heartworm treatment at our vet in Harford County. Once the treatment is done and her crate rest period is ended, she can be officially adopted. She has a very low adoption fee to hopefully make her more attractive to a family. But what more could you want? She is already adorable, cuddly, and well behaved. And she won't be disturbed by your loud kids or your spouses horrible music choice. Therefore she will make an excellent companion for watching sports on TV.
Diamond is otherwise completely vetted and spayed. Your responsibility would be to get her to her appointments and follow the Heartworm rest instructions, and keep in touch with us. Otherwise you would treat her as your own.
Send us a message or an email to katie@puppiesareworthsaving.com for more information or if you're interested.

More about this rescue
PAWS is ran by a group of volunteers that are dedicated to saving the lives of dogs and puppies. We are open to any breed and as long as we have room, we do not say no. We will try to find a specific breed or age of dog in a shelter as an alternative to someone buying from a breeder. We believe that all Puppies Are Worth Saving.
