My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Justice and Hope are not just kittens; they are a testament to resilience and love. Despite facing the challenges of feline leukemia, they embody a spirit that's nothing short of remarkable.

Justice is a feisty, sweet, and lovable kitten with a larger-than-life personality. With a heart as big as his playful spirit, and he's ready to fill your home with warmth and joy. He always finds delight in play, especially with his sister, Hope. Their playful antics are not only adorable but also a testimony to their strong bond. Justice is the perfect playmate, always ready for a game of chase or a playful pounce.

When the playtime is over, Justice transforms into a cuddle enthusiast. He adores snuggling with his humans, seeking comfort and companionship. His affectionate nature makes him a perfect addition to any loving home.

Justice is not just a kitten looking for a home; he's a beacon of hope and a reminder that love conquers all. If you're ready to open your heart and home to this brave little soul and his sister, Hope, you will find that they will fill your life with endless love and joy.

Hope and Justice are ready to shower you with love and bring endless smiles to your life. Will you be the one to give Hope and Justice a forever home filled with warmth and affection?

Because FeLV is contagious to other cats, Justice and Hope are searching for that special someone that will love them despite their positive diagnosis and will provide a home where they’ll be the only cats or to a home that already has a cat with FeLV.  CARE will provide post adoption support in the care of these two sweet kittens. Please contact CARE to learn more about this special pair!

Hope and Justice are being fostered by Caring for Creatures Sanctuary. Please submit an online application here: https://caringforcreatures.org/cat-adoption-application/ for more information.

Kittens that Need You Most!

Justice and Hope are two healthy kittens that simply require a little more care and attention.  FeLVies are cats that have tested positive for the feline leukemia virus. The virus causes a weakened immune system (and is not a form of cancer) and while FeLVies have a shorter lifespan, they have the same quality of life and are purrfectly adoptable!  To keep them healthy; protect them from stress, feed a high quality diet, keep them safe indoors and address health problems as they arrise. Adoption fees are waived and CARE provides ongoing medical care for conditions related to the virus.  A CARE adoption counselor can help answer any questions you may have.

Additional adoption info

Prior to adoption, every CARE cat/kitten has received a thorough exam from a veterinarian, has tested negative for FIV/Felv (except as otherwise noted), been spayed/neutered if old enough, microchipped, dewormed, given flea preventative, and been inoculated against distemper. Rabies vaccine is given if the feline is over 4 months. Any other desirable medical attention has also been provided. Also, each cat/kitten has spent its rescued time in a private home in foster care being loved and assessed for temperament and personality, needs, likes and dislikes.

After your approval by our volunteers, a legal contract is signed with an adoption donation attached (this donation helps defray the medical costs incurred).
The adoption fee is a Donation.
