Sweet and Smart Kenai is a gorgeous young Husky/Malamute mix! Born as the largest puppy, and first in a litter of puppies from a Husky mama rescued from Pierce County. Kenai is becoming tall and lanky, built more like a GSD than a small husky.
Kenai is steady and calm - a lover, always engaging with humans, great with kiddos and playful littermate with his furry foster siblings. Did someone say loving teddy bear? Kenai is your answer. Kenai carries a bit more brown undertones than his siblings, and is absolutely gorgeous in person.
Neuter at 6 months at our veterinarian is included in Kenai's adoption fee.
Kenai and his siblings are a Husky/Malamute/Mix, mama is gorgeous white Husky Sitka Snow, and while Sitka is on the smaller side at about 38 pounds, we do believe that Kenai will be a large dog.
Kenai has been dewormed and is up to date on his puppy vaccinations! He's ready to be your newest, bestest friend!!
A secure fenced yard no less than 5' in height will be be required for these pups.
As of May 2nd, Kenai weighed in at 30 lbs. Kenai will be adopted unaltered, with a contract and deposit for neuter by 6 months.

We are a committed group of dog lovers who have decades of experience in dog rescue, volunteering at animal shelters and owning rescue dogs. Most recently, our two founders, have been working with rescuing dogs from Mexico and the Asian dog meat trade as well as California kill shelters, Midwest puppy mill breeder releases and rehoming owner surrendered dogs in Washington and Oregon.
Deciding that we are able to rescue more by combining forces, Pacific Rim Rescue was formed. Our mission is to rescue dogs from devastating conditions from countries of the Pacific Rim.
We are committed to providing foster homes, veterinary and behavioral training for these dogs, so that they may live happy and fulfilling lives in their forever homes.
