Meet Hank

Hank loovvvveesss other dogs. He lives for romps in the yard with his foster brother and foster cousin. His ideal forever home would have another young, energetic dog to wrestle and zoom with. His foster bulldog brother doesn’t quite have the stamina to keep up with him and Hank just can’t understand why playtime zoomies are so short. He much prefers his Doberman foster cousin to play with.

Hank is very sweet and loves affection. He is very people friendly and can’t wait to meet new friends. Hank gets so excited so he needs to be reminded not to jump but it’s wonderful to have a friendly, happy guy around new people and dogs. Hank is food motivated and very trainable. He knows all the basic commands like sit, down, come, wait, off, and heel.

Hank is never boring and will keep you laughing with his goofy antics. He would do best in an active home with lots of outside time and space to stretch his legs. He would make a great running or trail partner. His foster family are not runners, but give him quality time outside each day practicing his training, throwing the ball, or exploring the woods.

Hank has a lot of energy but is easily managed. If you are looking for a couch potato, Hank is not for you. If you are looking for a young, healthy, fun loving dog you can take places and spend time with, Hank is your guy!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

To adopt one of our love-a-bull dogs, you must submit an application on our website at www.americanbulldogrescue.org. Applications must meet minimum requirements (policies are listed our site). Applicants have their vet and personal references checked . The next step is a home visit by one of our volunteers. Finally, the applicant will be put in touch with the foster family to arrange to meet the dog! If a happy match is made, the applicants sign an adoption contract and provide an adoption donation. The donation is usually $400.

Go meet their pets

Adoption events will be posted on our Facebook page. Our foster dogs live in homes with our volunteers. We do not have a facility where interested people can visit the dogs. If you are interested in meeting any of our dogs, please submit an adoption application available on our website.

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to rescuing and finding forever homes for bull breed dogs in need. American Bulldog Rescue is not a shelter, but an all-volunteer group where the dogs receive loving care in a network of dedicated foster homes until the time when their forever family is found.
