Chop, a delightful 6-month-old, neutered male, Rottweiler and Doberman mix, is eagerly awaiting his forever home! This lovable pup is on a journey to master housetraining, making strides with each passing day. Accustomed to the warmth of family life, Chop is well-versed in the art of indoor living and is even crate trained.

With a heart as big as his paws, Chop is a friendly fellow who effortlessly charms everyone he meets. Social and adaptable, he has experience living harmoniously with other dogs, showcasing his easygoing nature. As Chop continues to blossom, his endearing personality is sure to win hearts and create a paw-sitive impact in any loving home.

Could you be the one to provide Chop with the love and companionship he deserves? Open your heart and home to this sweet Rottweiler-Doberman mix, and watch as your life becomes even more enriched with the joy and loyalty only a furry friend like Chop can bring.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

*The shelter is currently open for adoptions by appointment only. Please email us at adoptycas@gmail.com if you are interested in adopting.
For other shelter services, please call us at (530) 668-5287*

To adopt you must have a photo ID and proof of your current address. If not on your ID then bring in a bill with your name and your current address. If you rent you must provide a lease clearly stating the pet policy or provide a name and phone number for your landlord so that we may confirm the pet policy. If you own your home you may provide a mortgage statement or property tax bill for proof.

You must be 18 years or older to adopt.

If you wish to adopt a dog and have other dog(s) at home, please bring them with you to the shelter so that they may meet. Even if your dog is wonderful with other dogs, many of the dogs at the shelter have come in as strays so we have no history on them and need to be sure they get along with your pet(s).

If you have any other questions, please go to www.yolocountysheriff.com or call the shelter for more information.
