My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Robbie is currently with a loving foster in NJ.  If interested in meeting, please fillout our application at www.SoCoRescue.com**

Her foster mom writes….
Robbie, but I have been calling her Willa, is so sweet & kind. She is crate trained and we are still working on house training & basic commands. She does well with having another dog in the house which helps with her confidence since she is a very nervous little girly. She loves playing with dogs of all sizes but is still unsure about humans. She is not aggressive at all but still prefers running away from humans instead of approaching them. She is not really snack motivated but loves a good celebration when she does something positive.
…………………..
When they first noticed the pregnant black Lab, a married couple was very concerned about how thin the mom-to-be appeared. The Lab was also very apprehensive of the couple, even tho they began to leave her bowls of food. They also provided the expecting mom a safe, comfortable place to deliver her litter of nine puppies. The couple then contacted our rescue and offered to foster the pups if we could find them homes. We gladly agreed but first had to administer the required vaccinations and de-wormings to the puppies. While the pups had a nice, safe place to stay, a medical issue arose with the woman at the home that required surgery and limited the time that the couple could interact with the puppies. Potential adopters should understand that this litter may need a little additional adjustment time once in a home.

Robbie may seem kind of reserved at first, but truth is, she's an all-out tomboy of a pup. She's usually the one from this litter that starts all of the playfulness and other little adventures that she and her siblings get into. With just a little patience and understanding, Robbie will become one of the best dogs you've ever met. She will benefit from having another playful, well-socialized dog to hang out with and will do best in a home without a lot of commotion or loud, unruly children.

Robbie has now received all three of her first year "puppy" vaccinations, including her rabires and Bordetella vaccinations. She's also been de-wormed at proper intervals and has been started on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. Her adopter must agree to having Robbie spay once she reaches 6 months old and provide verification to SoCo Rescue. Robbie will require all of her basic training.
