Give a big hello to Buttercup, a heartworm-negative cutie who recently went to a foster home! Here's what her foster parents have to say about her so far:
"Buttercup is the sweetest foster pup and has the cutest underbite ever! She's adjusting well to our home and is fully housetrained; she hasn't had a single accident since she got here! She also already knows "sit, and we're working on "down. She goes into her crate with a little coaxing (she responds wonderfully to treats!) and sleeps there overnight.
Buttercup is very big on hugs and loves snuggling up to people. She'll gently jump up and wrap her paws around you to ask for attention! She's a big fan of our futon and snoozes peacefully, making her the perfect Netflix-watching partner. She quickly learned how to ride well in the car and has even joined us for board game night with friends.
But don't be fooled! Buttercup LOVES toys and will happily fetch a tennis ball or play tug-of-war any time of day! She also loves her walks and visiting the park, so she's a perfect adventure buddy.
We're working on slow introductions with our dogs, but Buttercup is a playgroup rockstar at the shelter and passed her group evaluation at her daycare. We haven't had her around cats.
Buttercup is truly the perfect pooch and would make a great addition to any home!"
