My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Loaded Tater Tot, affectionately known as Tater, is a charming canine companion with a heart full of love and a playful spirit that will brighten any home. As a foster dog, Tater has undergone a remarkable transformation, evolving from a timid and anxious pup into a confident and loving companion. With his endearing personality and gentle nature, Tater is more than ready to find his forever family.

Tater is a social butterfly who effortlessly gets along with other dogs, relishing in playful interactions and displaying respectful greetings during walks. His friendly demeanor and non-aggressive nature make him a delightful addition to any multi-pet household.

In addition to his canine companions, Tater adores children, particularly those aged 5 and up. He eagerly engages in playtime with kids and exhibits remarkable patience and gentleness, making him an ideal furry friend for families with younger members.

Tater's amiable disposition extends to his interactions with cats, where he demonstrates a respectful demeanor by observing them from a distance and refraining from chasing or causing any disturbances.

While Tater grapples with separation anxiety, he's making significant progress with anxiety management techniques, such as soothing music and engaging chew toys. He prefers the company of his dog siblings over crate confinement when left alone, emphasizing his preference for companionship and comfort.

Tater has mastered the skill of potty training!

During leash walks, Tater is an enthusiastic explorer who enjoys taking in the sights and smells of the outdoors. While initially cautious, he quickly warms up, demonstrating his trust and affection for his human companions.

At home, Tater transforms into a cuddle bug, relishing in moments of affection and happily snuggling up with his foster family for a cozy nap on the couch. His affectionate nature and unwavering loyalty make him a cherished member of any household.
