Canelo, a 10-year-old male black and white mixed breed, is a sweet and resilient boy in search of a forever home. This sweet senior lived his whole life outdoors in less than ideal conditions. You would think he'd be mad or sad. He's not. He just leans into you for loving as much as you'll let him. His dermatitis went untreated for 6 years but was treated at the shelter so we're starting to see new hair growth. His foster in FL shared he is super easy to live with. He just wants to hang with you, go for walks, sleep, eat and chill. He's incredibly easy on the leash and loves his walks. He cries when you first put him in the crate for about 15 minutes but after a few days he realizes you're not leaving him so it gets less with time. Canelo is a quick study and learns your routine within 3 or 4 days. He loves the car. So if you're looking for a chill sidekick, come meet Canelo. He's waiting for you.
