My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Added to At Risk: A minor bite due to over-excitement and increasing mouthiness and stress in the shelter environment. These behaviors are typical of the breed but exacerbated by the stress of the shelter.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Introducing Mallory, the spirited Belgian Malinois mix who is stealing hearts and living up to the nickname, andamp;quot;Maligator.andamp;quot; Born with boundless energy and a heart full of love, Mallory is a young pup in the midst of growing out of her adorable puppy stage.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;In typical Malinois fashion, Mallory is a bundle of intelligence, enthusiasm, and athleticism. She possesses a keen mind that eagerly soaks up new knowledge, making her a quick learner. andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Mallory is a social butterfly, delighting in the company of other dogs during playtime. However, itandamp;#39;s the affection and interaction with her human friends that truly make her tail wag with joy. She craves a special person who understands the unique needs of her breed and is willing to invest time and effort in shaping her into the best girl she can be.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;This wonderful, smart, and active dog is a blank canvas ready to be adorned with love, training, and positive experiences. Malloryandamp;#39;s journey has just begun, and with the right companion by her side, she is destined to blossom into a loyal, well-rounded canine companion.

Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

With hundreds of pets at the shelter and in foster, we recommend checking our website before visiting in person.

2.

Meet the Pet

We recommend bringing the whole family, including resident dogs, to meet the pet you're interested in adopting to ensure it's a good match.

3.

Sign Adoption Contract

Our adoption team will review the adoption contract with you. Adoption fees are $30 for dogs and $5 for cats unless during a special promo.

Additional adoption info

All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis and must be made in person. As a high-intake shelter, most of the pets that come to us are strays, meaning we have limited background history on the pet, such as health, behavioral or living history. All adoptions include the animal's spay/neuter procedure, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and city license. All adoptions include a 7 day free trial with our training partner, GoodPup to help ease the transition!
