Meet Dunkin
PLEASE NOTE- AN APPLICATION FROM THE WEBSITE ALMOSTHOMEDOGS.ORG IS REQUIRED prior to any meet and greet. Calling, emailing and using the “contact us” link is not useful and will delay your consideration in the adoption of the dog. Petfinder inquires are not sent to us.
Dunkin is the sweetest thing-skip the puppy stage and adopt a young dog who is housebroken, crate trained and knows lots of commands. Dunkin has been very loved by his owner but sometimes life throws you curves and she cannot care for him anymore. Dunkin is 1 year old and 75 pounds, He is a happy guy who has lived with 2 cats (he wants to play, the cats not so much), loves everyone he meets, dog and people included. His best home would not include small kids-he doesn't quite understand his size. He is food motivated which has made training a breeze-knows sit, stay, wait and even a few party tricks like touch and spin-smart dog. As 1 year old active mixes are, he does need some exercise each day-a few walks, fetch in a yard or even a doggie playmate.
APPLY AT ALMOSTHOMEDOGS.ORG (click on the word "Adopt" at top of page to find the dropdown menu with application)
The adoption fee is $425, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including age appropriate vaccinations, worming, flea/tick preventative and spay/neuter. All of our dogs will be microchipped.
Because our dogs are in foster homes, applications are required prior to setting up any appointments. Calling or emailing may delay your consideration. Find our application on our website, almosthomedogs.org, then click on "Adopt" tab at top
We are a non profit no kill 501 (c)3 rescue. Please understand that we do our best to describe our dogs but often we rescue them with virtually no information about them and often our best educated guess can be challenging. Currently check, cash or venmo is preferred payment.
