My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Ziggy and I am a handsome dude who likes to pose for pictures. I have an awesome playful side to me. Everything seems to be a toy in my world. And attention! Let me tell you about how I like those ear scratches and little chin rubs. I can sit next to you and take that for hours. The one thing I don't like is to be picked up and held. But then how many teenagers do? I love snack time! I can graze in the refrigerator just like you. Not to suggest we're going to spend a lot of time in the refrigerator, but do you have a nice crisper full of snacks?

Are you interested in adopting Ziggy or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received.

Completed applications can be sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org , faxed to 919-300-5524 or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center).

We will contact you as soon as possible once we receive your application.

Thanks for thinking adoption!
