My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Tiger! Tiger was saved from the euthanasia list at ACS last month. A little back story on him…get your tissues ready…this poor guy has had a terrible life. The kind soul who saved him from being euthanized lived next door to Tiger and helped take care of him his whole life. Tiger’s owner passed away a couple of months ago, and the owners girlfriend surrendered Tiger to ACS. His owner had him tied up outside all his life. He was always infested with fleas to the point where his water was bloody when the neighbor would bathe him. Often the neighbor found herself having to feed and give him water because his owner would not. Despite living in such miserable conditions, in those moments of offering Tiger care, she said he was the most sweetest and caring dog and when she found out he had been surrendered she could not let him be killed. He deserves the chance to know love and be loved. Tiger is an older gentleman. He’s 8, almost 9 years old and weighs in at 65 pounds. He is up to date on vaccines, neutered, and current on both flea & tick and heartworm prevention. He’s goofy, gentle, and playful for his age. He’s great with anyone he meets and other dogs, just not a fan of cats! Tiger is ready to find a family who is going to shower him with love and let him live out his golden years.
