My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Darling Daisy is just that--a super sweet and loving 7 year old girl.  We think she is a hound mix of some sort but are not really sure.  Daisy was rescued in Memphis and had a great life with her mom and two doggie brothers.  Two older kitties completed the family.  Poor Daisy's life was turned upside down when her mom had to go into assisted living and none of the furry family members could go.  Thankfully for Daisy and her 4 legged siblings, their mom's sister is a close friend of Miss Vivienne.  After a few calls, the 3 dogs had a place to go and so did the cats.  Now Daisy is in a great foster home in Nashville learning what life is like in another home.  It took a little while but she is now settling in.  She is a very sweet girl and she loves her foster mom.  Daisy loves her daily walks and she loves to snuggle.  If you are on the sofa or in a big chair, scoot over to make room for her.  Get ready to scoot over at night and make room for Daisy there too.  You will love this great girl.  Daisy and her older doggie brother walk together once a week.  They are so excited to see each other.  For this reason we feel that Daisy would do MUCH better in a home with another dog.  Her other brother is about 25 lbs so she would be happy with a bigger or smaller buddy.  She just needs a buddy.  Daisy rides great in the car and is good on a leash.  If you would like to offer a loving home to a dog who will return that 10 fold, then Daisy is the one for you.  Daisy is spayed, current on all her shots, heartworm negative and microchipped.  To be considered for her forever family please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Daisy is currently in Nashville but can be transported north upon adoption.)

More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Companion Rescue give them a chance to have a life?
