Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bogie the Bengal is being rehomed due to an upcoming change in dynamics in the home due to an unfortunate medical situation. Bogie is 6 years old and about 14 lbs. He is declawed, neutered, and up-to-date on vaccines. He is 1/2 Bengal 1/2 tabby. He has the Bengal personality, sounds/voices, most of the telltale markings including the glitter hair and 3 colors in each strand of hair. Also the red brick nose and the different green eyes.
He will be wary of strangers for a while but curiosity will draw him in, then he will stay at a distance and watch for a while. We call that the strong silent part of him. He is a big nose and forehead bumper. He’s clumsy when rubbing up against you, kind of throws his body at you. He talks in all sorts of tones. He likes laying in the warm sun, loves the heat more than cold, will be a lap cat when he feels like it, has a deep purr and prefers to hunt when playing (a toy on a string that you are moving) versus playing alone.
He has lived with another cat who was adopted when he was a year old. He chases around with her and plays. A 7-year old dog was already in the home when Bogie arrived. Bogie mostly ignores her and is curious about other dogs if they are not threatening him. He hides from younger kids and would not want to be picked up by a child, so he would be best in a home with no young children. He will come out around the teenage grandkids eventually if they aren’t being too noisy. He is litterbox trained. He uses a harness when in the car rather than a crate/carrier.
Bogie needs a new home with people who have the time to keep him engaged and active. Someone who is experienced with Bengal personalities would be preferred. If you are interested in adopting this handsome cat, apply https://www.fromforgottentoforever.com/catadoptionapplication/
