My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Name: Nono
Age: 3 years old
Gender: Female
Breed: Jindo Mix
Color: Beige
Weight: 35lb (16kg)

I'm Nono, a one-of-a-kind Jindo mix girl with a heart full of love waiting for the perfect family to share it with. I've had a bit of a rough start, finding myself abandoned in a chicken coop until I was rescued and I'm on the lookout for a loving forever home.

I'll be honest; I haven't had many chances to befriend humans or other doggie pals. That's why I might seem a bit shy at first, but don't worry – it's just me taking my time to trust and open up. These days, my favorite companion is my wonderful trainer. She's teaching me the ropes of good behavior and helping me navigate the world of new doggie acquaintances. While I'm still a bit hesitant with other dogs, my trainer assures me I'm making great progress.

I do have a tiny fear, though. The sound of a clicking camera makes me a bit nervous. So, when we first meet, let's take it slow on the attention and the photos, okay? Us Jindos are naturally a bit cautious, but once I'm sure everything's safe, I transform into a playful girl who absolutely loves belly rubs. Just give me a couple of weeks to warm up, and you'll see the real me.

I'm a gal who loves the great outdoors, especially for my potty breaks and leisurely strolls. Sunshine and fresh air make me super happy! Now, I'm still working on my leash skills, but with a patient friend like you, I'm sure to become a pro walker in no time.

I dream of finding a family who can show me the true meaning of love in a cozy home – something I've never really experienced before. Are you ready to open a new world of love and joy for me? I'm here, eagerly waiting for you to be my guiding star. Let's make our own happily-ever-after!

More about this rescue

Chenny's Happy Tails Rescue Canada is a not-for-profit group(Corporate name: 12023318 CANADA FOUNDATION) registered in Canada, based in Toronto, Canada.

We are against the slaughter and consumption of dogs in Korea.
In Korea, there are many dogs that are kept in overcrowded cages in dog-meat facilities. They are sent to the market after being tortured to death. Although the consumption of dog meat is increasingly controversial and the vast majority of younger generations do not believe in dog meat, there are still many dogs that need to be rescued from farms and streets on which they have been abandoned/mistreated by humans.

We are committed to finding forever homes for dogs in Canada.
Chenny's Happy Tails Korea rescues and rehabilitates dogs to make them ready to be adopted.
Chenny's Happy Tails Canada works on finding the best adopter for each dog who can provide them a forever loving home and reliable care.
